Welcome to the Hawthorne II (deux) Bilingual Alternative Primary School website, where the students, staff, and parents get to tell it like it is to the whole wide world (WWW :).
Families are invited to take part in a special French-language Animate This! hands-on animation workshop for children ages 6-13. The theme is Lazy Summer Days (2-D clay/pixillation), where participants will create a storybook retelling of their favourite summer memory, to hold onto forever!

The Toronto Public Library has new comic books and graphic novels in French for kids, teens and adults.
According to this CBC report, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s staff is recommending to remove the “Alternative” designation from its programs.
