Welcome to the Hawthorne II (deux) Bilingual Alternative Primary School website, where the students, staff, and parents get to tell it like it is to the whole wide world (WWW :).
Last spring, we had a successful session of French storytime at the Bloor/Gladstone library branch. We’re hoping to see more free French storytimes in our neighbourhood, in the future. Right now, French storytimes are at the Fairview, Richview and Don Mills branches.
Thank you to all the parents and teachers in the French committee. Here’s a quick summary of 2009-2010. It was a great year. Looking forward to more fantastic events in September!
The public library offers great programs in French at different locations across the city. Why not check out a couple this summer? Bonne idée, n’est pas?
Our very own Philippa Dowding, parent of a graduate and of a current 6th grader (how time flies!) is inviting us to her 2nd book launch! Yeah!

The Toronto Public Library has new comic books and graphic novels in French for kids, teens and adults.
