The letter we received from the EcoSchools Central Team of the TDSB, awarding us a Silver medal for our ecoschool. Today’s package sent home by admin about the case of Swine Flu at Essex. Via our dear Joan, an information package from Gerry Connelly, Director of Education at the TDSB, about the swine flu. Several hundred enthusiastic folks came out to the front doors of City Hall at 9:00AM this morning, many donning swim wear and holding signs, to show they want their City Councilors to engage in the solution to help rescue the 39 community pools from closure this June. He’s the author of several books on our relationship to the environment and food. An article about packaging at Your Earth by Suzanne Elston Parent volunteers have created a tips and tricks document. |
